Set end_plates = on in production for CISC - Users can now use Endplates in CISC building code.
New listener control settings. The listener is the feature within Qnect that listens for changes made that could affect the engineering of a connection that Qnect has put into the model. This option allows the user to turn off the listener with the understanding that the user knows to periodically use the Diagnose Connections feature within the Tools button within Button 3.
Across Session: When 1/16 (3mm) space required at one end only need to check from other session. This is related to the fabricators-preferences web page preference
- At beam to column flange (or web) at double angle or end plate connection choose one of the following:
- Do not set back angles or end plate from face of column flange (or web)
- Provide 1/16" (2 mm) setback of angles or end plates from face of column flange (or web) at one end of beam only
- Provide 1/16" (2 mm) setback of angles or end plates from face of column flange (or web) at both ends of beam
If user selection is "Provide 1/16" (2 mm) setback of angles or end plates from face of column flange (or web) at one end of beam only", Qnect now checks the other beam end in the model for a Double Angles connection to see if 1/16 space was already provided at that connection.
If space was provided do Not provide space at this connection end
If space was not provided Do provide space at this connection end
