Nov 13, 2023 10:58:05 AM

  • Connection failed - Fixed issue where the desktop would specify that the main beam had been modified between buttons 1 and 2.
  • Two-sided single angle connection to sloped girder
    • 1. “Rotation” of filler beam limitations, for single angle, double angle and shear plate connectionshould be maximum from vertical of 1:12 (4.76 degrees rotation). This one shown below is toomuch. Should be kicked out with error message saying “Filler beam rotations greater than 1:12 slope from vertical not yet functional in Qnect.”QNT-8495
    • “Rotation” of girder can be whatever is in the model, though as stated above, filler beam should be limited to 1:12 (4.76 degrees).
      QNT-8495 (2)
    • 2.  Double angle rotated filler connections not connecting, but should.QNT-8495 (3)

  • qnect-cplus: crashing with vertical + horizontal offset combination - This combination of preferences was causing the issue and has been resolved.

QNT-8629

  • qnect-cplus: Fix AISC-15 Buckling Moment Capacity calcs out and internal comparison - Calcs report not showing correctly.

QNT-8603

  • Supplementary changes for Alias run - Alias only runs will not update the engineering but allows the customer to make alias changes like material grade syntax or bolt assembly naming conventions by using the re-engineer UDA field on the Qnect tab.  This ticket added additional features to that like having it automatically recognize several connections that may have different job preferences.
  •  Fix OSHA related min opposite connection down distance calculation - Note that the changes in down distance did not produce incorrect results, however changes in bolt diameter and angle profile seem strange and undesired and needed to be explained.
  •  VB - ADD EXTENDED GUSSET CASE

QNT-8591

  • VB - Job Prefs Part 2 +3 - Make VB pages optional - Updated Vertical Bracing Preference page to have tabs for each type.

QNT-8568
