Project Description
109 Brookline Avenue, which resides in the Fenway neighborhood in Boston, Massachusetts, is intended for office, laboratory, research and development, ground-floor retail, and below-grade parking. The project will connect to the existing building at 20 Overland Street.
The winning fabricator lowered their bid by almost half a million dollars to the GC by delivering a connected model using Qnect. This was due to a reduction in steel needed as well as exact material ordering, fewer extras, and fewer change orders.
For IQHQ the reduction in material used during the project has aided in their goal to make 109 Brookline one of Boston's first entirely carbon-neutral buildings.
