Jef C. Sharp, CEO, has been combining innovation and productivity with financial rigor and leadership to start-up and build technology businesses for the last 30 years.

Henry Lederman, CSO, with an MBA from Columbia University and over 40 years of experience in the structural steel industry, Henry is uniquely able to strategize the best solutions and paths forward to successfully commercialize Qnect.

Jeff A. Hausthor, COO, is a former Fortune 500 professional and is now applying 30+ years of system development, project management, software development and operation efficiency to “Engineer a better way.”

Tim FraserTim Fraser, P.E., VP Engineering, Chairman of the AISC Seismic Provisions Subcommittee on Members and Connections. Former AISC Specification Committee and CSA S16, for the Design of Steel Structures. Tim has 36 years in the steel industry, including Chief Engineer (19 years at Canron) and lead engineer at Anvil Corporation.

But the foundational strength of our success comes from the entire team of skilled software developers, engineers, steel detailing experts and support crew who make up our brilliant group of co-collaborators.

Erleen Hatfield
Erleen is a principal at engineering firm, BuroHappold in NYC. She has over 18 years of experience with complex structural design projects. She lectures on innovation and new technologies in engineering and architecture, at Yale University. She’s on the American Institute of Steel Construction Building Information Modeling Committee, the American Concrete Institute Committee on BIM and the Applied Technology Council-Committee 81. She is the co-chair of the American Institute of Architects New York Technology Committee and a past director of the Structural Engineers Association of New York.

William A. Thornton, PhD, P.E.
Bill has been on the AISC Committee on manuals and textbooks and is the recipient of the AISC T.R. Higgins award, the AISC Lifetime Achievement award, and a membership awardee of the National Academy of Engineers.

Irwin M. Heller, J.D.
Senior Partner at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. Irwin served on the firm’s Executive Committee and was Managing Partner for six years. Irwin’s practice includes a diversified clientele ranging from start-up to publicly traded entities. Mr. Heller serves as a Trustee of Tufts University, as the President and Trustee of Temple Beth Elohim of Wellesley and as a Trustee of the Wang Center.

Todd Mitty, PhD
President at Sagacital Investment Bank. At Credit Suisse, Todd strengthened trading, credit, and operational risk management & controls. He built the global client profitability, management, and analytics capabilities for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. At Morgan Stanley he held roles as a trader & risk manager. ​He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University where he specialized in Computational Fluid Dynamics.

Rajeev Surati, PhD
Rajeev holds five patents including the core patent for Scalable Display Technologies, where he was a Founder and President. Among Rajeev’s many inventions are Enterprise Instant Messaging and the distributed “Application push over HTTP”. At Photo.net Corp, which Rajeev cofounded, he ran the first photo-sharing site on the Web. He also cofounded Flash Communications, which sold to Microsoft. Rajeev serves on the Boards of Tao Group and Photo.net. and advisory boards of Prematics and Nexaweb. Rajeev’s Ph.D. from MIT focused on camera feedback systems.

Alex Ray
Business leader extraordinaire. Alex has 40 plus years of building the Common Man Hospitality conglomerate and has developed critical business thinking, business growth, asset management, legal and executive development expertise.
Through project development, business scale up and M&A activities, Ray’s success has positioned him as one of the largest employers in NH.

Sam Mawn Malau
Sam Mawn-Mahlau practices Business Law. He serves as general counsel and advisor to businesses in the software technology, finance, and life sciences areas. His clients are focused on rapid growth and include newly formed corporations in need of general counsel. Sam has been involved in numerous venture capital financings, licensing agreements, and mergers and acquisitions, and has worked with many technology companies on successful long-term partnerships, collaborations, and joint ventures with other companies. Prior to law school, Sam served as a campaign manager for former Congressman John W. Olver.

Hans Ehrnrooth
Served as President of Tekla North America for 12 years, Nokia Corporation and Nokia Ventures for 11 years. Business Development and Strategic Positioning have been a strong focus. Global Mergers and Acquisitions as well as Divestments have been part of the solutions to growth and sustained profitability of previous companies. Sales and Marketing, both Direct and through Channel, have been part of Hans’ responsibilities throughout. Entry into and development of new markets as well as market share acquisition in old markets have been key responsibilities resulting in outstanding market share growth of his companies.

 

The use of Qnect’s suite of tools results in real savings in material, labor and time and thus represents a huge advancement for the construction industry. I believe QuickQnect will become a standard for the major players and a necessity for others to remain competitive.
